The day started with drops of rain.
Hopes of sunshine begin to wane.
Then there she was elegantly floating on the hanging bridge.
We all watched as she walked her pace,
With that beautiful glow on her face.
The skies cleared,
Everyone stood still…

Blanche is the bride who every bride wishes can be her wedding planner. With a flick of a finger my hairstylist and I got booked for her wedding in Boracay a year in advance without even doing a makeup test and kept in touch since.
Her blog http://moonsnjunes.wordpress.com became an instant source of wedding themes, suppliers and insights for brides-to-be. This inspired me to put down my makeup brush and start my own blog (that I have tried, failed, tried again over the years).
Blanche is so OC with details that she even managed to book the perfect weather for a rainy month in Bora (haha!). Even with the celebrity wedding nearby (that we all dreaded during preparation), Blanche’s wedding was perfect. With sand on our feet, smiles on our faces, it was the ideal beach wedding – simple, intimate and heartwarming.
And I got the best souvenir. Blanche became my friend. 🙂

A few months ago, I went to Sara Black’s studio to do a shoot for a clinic and met one of the models, Mae who was in the middle of choosing her suppliers for her upcoming wedding. After work, we ended up browsing through the net for all prospective suppliers and ideas for her wedding. She just wanted a nice, grecian themed wedding.
Weeks after, we were booked to do her pre nup at Thunderbird, La Union with photographer Nelwin Uy and his team. The pre nup shoot wasn’t just nice. IT WAS GRAND. 🙂
